Donna received her B.A. summa cum laude from Temple University (sociology) and her J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1988. Utilizing her 16 years of work experience in agency and claims service with State Farm Insurance, Donna practiced law as an associate, and then as a partner at Krusen Evans & Byrne in all areas of insurance defense and coverage litigation. As part of the maritime department, Donna also had the opportunity to be involved in the unique issues of admiralty law. Donna Adelsberger & Associates was founded in 1996, after the dissolution of Krusen Evans & Byrne. Donna continues to practice in all areas of insurance defense, including premises liability, dram shop, medical professional liability, employment law, professional errors and omissions, construction accidents and products liability. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Donna has served on the adjunct faculty at Temple University School of Law, and Pennsylvania State University, teaching legal research and writing. She lectures at Arcadia University on medical malpractice issues. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Association, and proudly serves as a Pro Bono Child Advocate for the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia and the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Program (representing abused children in family court and criminal proceedings). Donna is a life long resident of the Philadelphia area, where she and her husband are involved in numerous community service activities. She is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and currently serving as President of the Rotary Club of Glenside for the year 2010-2011. She is also serving on the Board of Directors of the Greater Glenside Chamber of Commerce. Donna is trained as a classical pianist, and enjoys all music (both playing and listening), as well as organic gardening.
