Our firm was founded in 1996 following the dissolution of Krusen, Evans & Byrne, a respected insurance and maritime firm in the Philadelphia area for more than 50 years. We continue to provide quality legal services in their tradition.

We primarily concentrate our practice in the areas of insurance defense and coverage litigation, with expertise in premises liability, dram shop, professional liability, employment law, errors and omissions, construction accidents and product liability.

We also maintain an active practice in all aspects of admiralty law, including Coast Guard investigations; collisions; groundings; oil spills; injuries to passengers, crew and longshoremen; cargo claims; arrests; attachments and commercial disputes on behalf of vessel owners, tug boat, ferry and commercial fishing boat operators, mariners and their underwriters.

Our attorneys are admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We also routinely appear in the state and federal courts of Delaware on behalf of our maritime clients. Our attorneys are on call 24 hours a day to respond to maritime emergencies.

We serve insurance carriers both large and small from the United States, the London markets and Europe. In addition, we provide legal representation to many self-insured organizations and individuals.

Our offices are conveniently located in Glenside, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, which is easily accessed by automobile or public transportation. We also maintain a satellite office in Marlton for the convenience of our clients in New Jersey.
